What would you tell other young people about Future Chefs who are interested in joining our program?

For only your time you're able to get cooking knowledge, get paid, and eat good food.

How did you hear about Future Chefs? What inspired you to join our program?

I heard about it from my school counselor and it was an easy and fun way to make some money.

Did you have an interest in food before joining Future Chefs?

I always wanted to learn how to cook for myself because it saves a lot of money and feels good to eat something you've made yourself.

How has the Future Chefs program impacted you? 

I’ve made a solid support group that I can fall back on anytime.

Do you have any mentors who have guided you? Is there someone you would like to shout out for supporting you during high school or this past year? 

Jordan and Tawanna have been a huge help with everything from college to my horrid sleep schedule and they helped make my summer be relaxed and enjoyable.

Would you recommend FC to other young people? 

If you have any interest in cooking or just want to do something fun, FC can scratch that itch.

How have Future Chefs activities expanded your confidence? 

Future Chefs have made me more confident in the kitchen through knowledge and experience.
