Where are you from and what high school did you attend?
I’m from Boston and I go to Cathedral High School.
Besides cooking, what other passions and interests do you have? How do you fulfill these passions and interests?
I’m passionate about the arts and I fulfill that by writing and drawing on my own time.
What would you tell other young people who are interested in joining our program about Future Chefs?
I would say join it if you truly want to grow and not just do it to pass the time.
What are your school, career, and life goals over the next 3-5 years?
In five years I would like to be done with my undergraduate and maybe doing an internship. Personally want to be out of my house at least living with a roommate and financially stable.
Did you have an interest in food before joining Future Chefs?
I had an interest in food, it is part of why I joined FC to learn more and be more comfortable in the kitchen.
Would you recommend FC to other young people?
I would recommend it because it's a really good opportunity to gain more skills and confidence. Future Chefs is a safe space with other peers and there are so many opportunities you can gain from it.
